Research groups for emerging scientists in educational research

Funding is provided for research groups in the field of application-oriented basic research and design-oriented empirical research that are led by scientists in their early career phase (postdoc or junior professor).

From a total of 13 project proposals submitted on the topic of "University Teaching" and five formally submitted applications in the second stage of the procedure, the projects "Institutional Hurdles in Study Decisions - Social Inequality, Admission Procedures and their Consequences" (Dr. Florian Hertel, University of Hamburg) and "Performance-Oriented Professionalization in Teacher Training" (Dr. Christoph Vogelsang, University of Paderborn) prevailed.
