The importance of qualification of young scientists and researchers, for positions within and outside of the academic sector, has been growing.
The funding line "Research on the career conditions and career development of young scientists and researchers" (FoWiN), of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is designed to improve the information available on this topic.
